About Us

In 1970 my Uncle Ike and other family moved to Brazil. They bought farmland and learned to live among the native Brazilian people there. Through the years they farmed coffee, soybeans, corn. The Brazilian culture food was centered around this Bode Pepper. They would take the red bode pepper and add fresh garlic and sea salt. This is called Tempedo . They would rub this on the meat before grilling. Other peppers like jalapeno cooked with meats dishes are strong flavored and don’t compliment the other flavors. The Bode pepper is subtle and blends well with all types of food. Since Bode Pepper is not available in grocery stores or in local food markets, my goal is to take this mainstream. I plan on growing Brazilian Pepper Co to have 30 different types of food products available in these United States.
